There are four components of Web Crescendo that require approvals when being updated, created, or deleted. These include pages, widgets, files, and products. Administrators are the only users that can approve or reject these change requests.

Approving Pages

On the page approval tab you can view the pages that need to be approved, which site they are associated with, when they were last modified, and by whom. There are 3 types of change requests: updating a page (replaces the current page), creating a new page, or deleting a page. If a page needs to be deleted, make sure to do only one at a time. Once the change request is reviewed, click to approve, reject, or preview. You can also approve and reject in batch by clicking the batch approval drop down menu. If you reject a page, you will be prompted for a reason code and given an opportunity to describe the reason for rejection in a text box.

Approving Widgets

On the widget approval tab you can view the widgets that need to be approved, what type of widget they are, when they were last modified, and by whom. There are 3 types of change requests: updating a widget which replaces the current widget, creating a new widget, or deleting a widget. Once the change request is reviewed, click to approve, reject, or preview. You can also approve and reject in batch by clicking the batch approval drop down menu. If you reject a widget, you will be prompted for a reason code and given an opportunity to describe the reason for rejection in a text box.

Approving Files

On the file approval tab you can view the files that need to be approved, when they were last modified, and by whom. There are 3 types of change requests: updating a file (replaces the current file), creating a new file, or deleting a file. Once the change request is reviewed, click to approve, reject, or preview. You can also approve and reject in batch by clicking the batch approval drop down menu.

Approving Products

On the product approval tab you can view the products that need to be approved, what type of products they are, when they were last modified, and by whom. There are 3 types of change requests: updating a product which replaces the current product, creating a new product, or deleting a product. Once the change request is reviewed, click to approve, reject, or preview. You can also approve and reject in batch by clicking the batch approval drop down menu. If you reject a file, you will be prompted for a reason code and given an opportunity to describe the reason for rejection in a text box.
